✨ Love That Flows Both Ways

I used to think love meant doing it all, fixing everything, holding everyone together… I was deep in my “I’ve got this” era… until I realized I was carrying the whole relationship alone.

Somewhere along the way, I forgot how to receive.
How to be cared for. How to be soft without feeling weak.

This season looks different. No more survival mode.
I’m choosing trust, rest, and love that meets me halfway. It’s so refreshing!!!

Because being the strong one all the time gets heavy.
And I’m ready for partnership, not performance.

Here’s to ease, softness, and love that flows both ways ✨

When You Love Someone

Memories that Still Hurt

Lord, breathe peace into the memories that still hurt, the ones that replay in my mind and steal my joy even years later.

These wounds from the past feel as fresh as the day they happened, and I'm tired of being held hostage by moments I can't change or undo.
Teach me that healing doesn't mean forgetting, that I can remember without reliving the pain, that You can redeem even the memories that cut the deepest.
I confess I've tried to bury these memories, to pretend they don't affect me anymore, when really they're still shaping how I see myself, how I trust others, how I move through the world.
Help me bring these painful memories into Your light instead of keeping them hidden in the dark where shame and hurt continue to fester and grow.
Remind me that You were there in those moments even when I couldn't feel You, that You grieve what was done to me, that You want to heal not just the original wound but the ongoing ache it's left behind.
Give me the courage to let You into the tender places, to stop protecting these hurts and start releasing them to You, to trust that Your peace can reach even the memories I thought would always haunt me.
Let Your healing presence wash over these painful memories, taking the sting out of them, replacing hurt with comfort, bringing peace where there's been torment, until I can finally look back without breaking.
Amen.

Grief is strange like that…

Grief is strange like that…

it doesn’t arrive all at once.
It slips into the quiet moments,
into habits your hands still remember,
into the reflex of reaching for a phone
before your heart catches up with reality.

There are seconds when you forget.
Seconds when it feels normal to call,
to type,
to hear their voice on the other end.
And then it hits —
they’re not just one call away anymore.

Loss doesn’t only hurt because someone is gone.
It hurts because love doesn’t know where to go.
It lingers.
It waits.
It keeps looking for the place it used to rest.

You grieve in pauses.
In silence.
In the spaces where conversations once lived.
In the moments when your day feels heavy
for no obvious reason at all.

And yet…
that reaching says something beautiful.
It says the love was real.
It says the connection mattered.
It says some bonds don’t disappear —
they just change form.

Be gentle with yourself.
There is no timeline for this kind of missing.
Healing doesn’t mean forgetting.
It means learning how to carry the love
without the pain breaking you.

Because even if they’re not one call away anymore,
they are still close —
in memories,
in quiet thoughts,
and in the heart that still reaches for them.

Be Grateful for Each and Every Moment

Life doesn’t become precious because of grand achievements

or perfectly planned days.
It becomes precious in the quiet moments,
the shared silences,
the simple joy of sitting close to the ones
who make your heart feel full.

What truly matters are the moments
we don’t rush through.
The laughter that comes easily.
The comfort of knowing you’re not alone,
even when no one is saying a word.

These are the memories that stay.
Not because they were loud,
but because they were real.
Because love was present.
Because time slowed down just enough
for us to feel it.

Gratitude isn’t about having everything.
It’s about noticing what’s already here —
the people,
the togetherness,
the moments that gently remind us
why life is worth holding onto.

So be grateful for each and every one.
For the friends who sit beside you.
For the hearts that choose to stay.
For the moments that quietly become memories.

Because in the end,
life is made precious
by the time we spend together.

Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now) by Phil Collins

How can I just let you walk away?
Just let you leave without a trace
When I stand here taking every breath
With you? Ooh, ooh

You're the only one who really knew me at all

How can you just walk away from me
When all I can do is watch you leave?
'Cause we've shared the laughter and the pain
And even shared the tears

You're the only one who really knew me at all

How can I just let you walk away?
Just let you leave without a trace
When I stand here taking every breath
With you? Ooh, ooh

You're the only one who really knew me at all

How can you just walk away from me
When all I can do is watch you leave?
'Cause we've shared the laughter and the pain
And even shared the tears

You're the only one who really knew me at all

So, take a look at me now
Well, there's just an empty space
And there's nothin' left here to remind me
Just the memory of your face
Ooh, take a look at me now
Well, there's just an empty space
And you comin' back to me is against the odds
And that's what I've got to face

You Broke Me Slowly ...

You didn't break me in one moment.

You broke me slowly - in half-truths, delayed replies, fading affection.

You broke me in the way you stopped looking at me like I mattered.

Pain doesn't always come crashing down;

Sometimes it arrives in quiet disappointments

That pile up until the heart can't carry them anymore.

I still replay the moments when I should've walked away

But stayed because I believed you'd come back to the person I  once loved.

I didn't lose you - you lost the version of me who tried endlessly.

And you'll never meet her again.

I Finally Saw You Clearly ...

I used to think you changed.

That you became cold, distant, careless.

But the truth is painful - you didn't change.

I just finally saw who you really were.

The lies were always there.

The manipulation was always there.

The selfishness was always there.

I just loved you too much to notice.

Sometimes clarity hurts more than heartbreak,

Because it forces you to accept that the person you loved

Never existed.

Another You

You don't know what you have till it's gone

Best I ever had to the worst, still makes me mad

From moving way too fast to moving on Whispers of the past, like scars that ever last And then you send me that shit Why'd you send me that message? Won't you show some respect To that chick you tryna mess with Baby, don't you remember Only took you 'bout a minute To go make a bad decision Maybe you ain't heard the news Now I got another you Only took about a week or two It wasn't hard to fill your shoes Now I got another you I don't need to hear anything 'Cause all your second chances, you just took advantage Oh boy does it damage helping hands Now I got it better but, man, it did my head in When you send me that shit Why'd you send me that message? Won't you show some respect To that chick you tryna mess with Baby, don't you remember Only took you about a minute To go make a bad decision Maybe you ain't heard the news Now I got another you Only took about a week or two It wasn't hard to fill your shoes Now I got another you Now I got another you I hope you find another me someday Hope you find another love that's great I hope you find another me someday Hope you find another love that's great I hope you find another me someday Hope you find another love that's great And when you find another me someday You'll probably fuck it up the same old way Maybe you ain't heard the news Now I got another you Only took about a week or two It wasn't hard to fill your shoes Now I got another you Now I got another you Now I got another you

 Piglet: “Pooh?”

Pooh: “Yes, Piglet?”

Piglet: “Do sunsets always feel a little… comforting?”

Pooh: “Mm-hmm. I think they do. They remind us that even busy days know how to rest.”
Piglet: “Oh… I like that. Sometimes I forget to rest.”
Pooh: (smiling softly)
“That’s why the sky helps us remember. It slows down so we slow down too.”
Piglet: “Pooh?”
Pooh: “Yes?”
Piglet: “Do you think tomorrow will be a good day?”
Pooh: “I think it will be whatever it needs to be. And we’ll handle it together, which makes it good enough already.”
Piglet: (leans a little closer)
“Pooh… does anything ever worry you?”
Pooh: “Oh, sometimes. Even bears worry.”
Piglet: “What do you do when you worry?”
Pooh: “I sit with someone who helps the world feel less heavy… like you.”
Piglet: “…Really?”
Pooh: “Really. And then I watch the sky until my heart remembers that everything changes—clouds, colors, feelings. Nothing stays heavy forever.”

Piglet: “That makes me feel braver.”
Pooh: “Sunsets do that, Piglet. They whisper, ‘You made it through today… and you’ll make it through tomorrow too.’”
Piglet: “Thank you, Pooh.”
Pooh: “Thank you for sitting with me. Moments like this are better when shared.”

“You know,” Pooh said softly, turning the little flower between his paws, “I used to think that when someone hurt me, I had to show them I was stronger.”

He paused, watching the petals sway in the breeze. “But now I think strength isn’t about fighting back. It’s about walking away without carrying the same darkness that hurt you.”
He smiled faintly, his voice barely louder than the wind. “Anger is heavy, and revenge only keeps you where the pain lives. But forgiveness — or even quiet acceptance — that’s what sets you free.”
Piglet, sitting nearby, nodded slowly. “So, you just… let go?”
Pooh looked up at the sky. “Yes,” he whispered. “Because peace feels better than proving a point. The best revenge is to become someone softer, wiser, and kinder — someone who still believes in good, even after being shown the bad.”
And with that, he placed the flower gently beside his notebook, letting the sun warm his fur and his heart all at once.

Piglet: “Pooh?”

Pooh: “Yes, Piglet?”

Piglet: “How do you know when someone loves you?”
Pooh: “Oh, that’s easy,” said Pooh, resting his chin on his paws. “It’s in the little things. When they listen, even when you don’t have much to say. When they wait for you to catch up, even though they could walk faster. When they remember how you take your tea, or hold your paw when the world feels too big.”
Piglet: “So… you don’t have to say it?”
Pooh: “You can,” said Pooh softly. “But sometimes you don’t have to. Love doesn’t always talk. Sometimes it just stays.”
Piglet smiled — that small, quiet kind of smile that makes everything feel safe. “Then I suppose,” he whispered, “I must be very loved.”
Pooh: “You are,” said Pooh, “and I am too.”

And for a long while after that, they just stayed there — no words, no hurry, just the kind of love that doesn’t need spelling at all.

Some days are simply meant for… being.

Eeyore lowered his head and murmured, “I’m not much good today, Pooh.”

Pooh shuffled a little closer, his voice soft and warm. “That’s all right, Eeyore. Some days aren’t meant for being much good. Some days are simply meant for… being.”

Eeyore let out a small, weary sigh.
“Everything feels a bit heavier than usual. Not the kind you can see. Just the kind that sits inside you.”

Pooh nodded slowly, as if he understood every unspoken part.
“Then I’ll stay right here and help you carry it.”

Eeyore blinked in confusion.
“But you can’t see it, Pooh. It’s not the sort of heavy you can pick up.”

“I know,” Pooh said gently. “But even invisible heaviness can feel lighter when someone stands beside you.”

For a long moment, Eeyore just looked at him — as if searching for the right words, or perhaps trying to believe he deserved them. Finally, in a voice barely above a whisper, he said,
“Thank you, Pooh.”

Pooh smiled, warm as honey in sunlight.
“You don’t need to thank me, Eeyore. That’s what friends do. They stay. They listen. They sit in the quiet with you. Even when they can’t change the weather inside your heart.”

Pooh gently settled down at Eeyore’s side, their shoulders almost touching.
“Besides,” he added, “cloudy days aren’t so bad when you don’t face them alone.”

Eeyore gave a tiny nod — the kind that meant more than words.
And together they stayed, saying nothing, sharing everything, letting the heaviness become just a little easier to hold.

“Pooh,” said Piglet softly, “how do you know if someone is really your friend?”
Pooh thought for a long while, because these sorts of questions required the very best kind of thinking. Finally, he said, “You know, Piglet, because they’re still there. They stay on rainy days and sunny ones, on days when you feel small and on days when you feel braver. A true friend is someone who doesn’t count the minutes or the miles, but simply stays.”
Piglet felt quite comforted by this, because being small sometimes made him worry he might be forgotten. “So,” he said, “it doesn’t matter if you’re the first to arrive, as long as you never go away?”
“That’s it,” Pooh replied, nodding wisely. “Friendship isn’t about who came first, or who knew you the longest. It’s about who comes and never leaves. And that makes even the smallest heart feel very big.”
And Piglet sat a little closer on the log, and Pooh smiled his thoughtful smile, and the Hundred Acre Wood felt very safe indeed—because some friendships, once found, are forever.

There's still men who ....

There's still men who ....
There are still men out there who will sit and listen to you while looking deep into your eyes.
There are still men out there who will take accountability for their actions and not only admit, but apologize when they are wrong.
There are still men out there that are aware of their behaviour towards you and will take the necessary steps to never make you feel like that ever again.
There are still men out there that want to grow old with you and pursue this thing we call life together.
There are men out there that will never have you questioning where you stand in his life.
There are men out there that will write you a hand written letter just to let you know how blessed they are to have you come into their life.
Listen to me when I say this .....
You don't have to spend years of your life surrounding yourself with someone who doesn't know how to communicate or have emotional intelligence.
You and I both know you deserve someone that will give you the world.
Don't settle until you find it..

Grateful for being me

"One day," said Pooh softly, looking into the mirror, "I decided to stop wishing I was someone braver, cleverer, or thinner... and just be grateful for being me."

He tilted his head, studying the bear staring back at him — a bear who had made mistakes, who had eaten too much honey, who sometimes got lost in the woods of worry, but always found his way back with kindness.
"You’ve carried me through every storm," he whispered to his reflection. "You’ve kept believing even when I doubted. And that makes you rather wonderful, doesn’t it?"
The bear in the mirror smiled. Pooh smiled back. And for the first time in a long while, he didn’t feel like he needed to change a thing.

I don't know how to tell you this

I don't know how to tell you this

but I need to be brutally honest
for a minute.
You are not who you think you are.
You are not what you have been told.
You are not what you have come to
believe about yourself.
Listen.
You are vast.
And holy.
And orchestrated.
You are waterfalls.
And green grass.
And sunflowers bursting with seeds.
You are chosen.
Do you even know what it means
to be chosen?
Tenderly sought after.
Longed for.
Woven out of the purest form
of love ever to have existed.
You are delighted in.
An image bearer.
A reflection of your Creator.
He spoke breath into your lungs
because YOU matter.
Because YOU have purpose.
And because YOU were made
for this precise time in history.
NOBODY else can take your place.
So live like it.
Be so extravagant in love
that people stop to wonder
where on earth it all came from.
Then tell them.

Kindness is not a Weakness

“It’s a sad thing, Pooh thought, when the kindest hearts get hurt the most. The ones who give without asking, who listen without judging, who stay when everyone else walks away — they’re the ones the world often takes for granted. But even if people forget to cherish you, don’t stop being good. Don’t stop being gentle. Your kindness is not a weakness; it’s the rarest strength there is. Keep your heart soft, even when life tries to harden it. One day, someone will see the quiet beauty in your goodness and never, ever try to use it — only to honor it.”

Love, once felt, never truly leaves

“Sometimes,” said Pooh softly, his eyes glistening as he looked up at the stars, “missing someone feels a bit like standing in the middle of the Hundred Acre Wood at night — quiet and full of something you can’t quite see but can always feel.”

He wiped a tear with his paw.

“It doesn’t really go away, you know. The missing. It just becomes part of you — like the way the stars become part of the sky. You can’t take them out, but you can look at them and remember how lovely they are.”

Pooh closed his eyes for a moment and whispered into the wind,
“I hope you know, wherever you are, that I still think of you when the stars come out. Because love doesn’t end, it just learns how to shine differently.”

And as a single tear fell, it sparkled like a tiny star — a quiet reminder that love, once felt, never truly leaves.

— Inspired by A. A. Milne’s “Winnie-the-Pooh”

Who are you?

“Pooh looked at the little bear in his arms and blinked softly. 🐻

‘Who are you?’ he asked, his voice gentle as a whisper through the trees. 🌳
The little bear didn’t answer, only smiled the way Pooh once did — full of wonder, full of dreams. ✨
And in that quiet moment, Pooh realized something he hadn’t thought of before. The little bear wasn’t a stranger at all. He was the part of Pooh that still believed in simple joys, in the sound of laughter, in the sweetness of honey, and in the warmth of friends. 🍯💛
‘Oh,’ said Pooh, holding him a little closer, ‘you’re the me I used to be — the one who still remembers how to see magic in ordinary things.’ 🌸
The wind brushed past them softly, and Pooh smiled, feeling a tiny heartbeat against his own.
‘Don’t ever go too far away,’ he whispered. ‘Because when I forget who I am, I’ll need you to remind me.’
